Walter Leitner
Director of Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion - DE
Walter Leitner is Director at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim an der Ruhr and holds the Chair of Chemical Technology and Petrochemistry at RWTH Aachen University. His research focusses on an organometallic approach to catalysis at the interface of energy and chemistry motivated by the principles of Green Chemistry. He has been a participant in the very first ICCDU in Bari 1993 and was Chairman of ICCDU 17 in Aachen in 2019.
