Yutaka Amao

Prof. Yutaka Amao received his Ph.D. in 1997 from Tokyo Institute of Technology. He worked as a researcher at the Kanagawa Academy of Science and Technology (1997-1998), and then at the National Aerospace Laboratory (1998-2001). He started to work as an Associate Professor in Oita University. He also started to work as a Precursory Research for Embryonic Science and Technology researcher of Japan Science and Technology Agency (2011-2015). In 2013, he was appointed as a full Professor of Osaka City University. In 2022, he was appointed as a full Professor of Osaka Metropolitan University. In 2018, he was awarded the Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
